About Me
I work in schools supporting teachers and senior managers. This often involves planning a lesson together and then team teaching it.
We have a massive rebuild of schools in our area so I am spending a lot of time considering how students and teachers can make good use of ICT in the future

Thank you for contributing to my blog on Interactive Whiteboards blog. I will be on learning mode for a while. It looks like my school is shooting for both the Prometheus and the Smartboard...

thanks for the London travel link, Richard--it is VERY useful. I was talking to someone who's traveled in Europe and was giving advice on how someone from the U.S. should NOT dress in England. So interesting!

Hi Richard,
This summer I'm taking the Chunnel from Paris to London and am bringing five friends. Have you done this? Any advice for traveling from the station to Heathrow?

Richard,
I'll start working on it later this week. I've got a big project on Wednesday. I'll also be bringing in our IT director as he is very interested in helping out on this.
Thanks,
Arlene

I"ll wait till I hear from you before I mention it to any teachers here. I'm sure they would love the opportunity for their students. I talked to my IT about it this afternoon and he said we may even be able to set up an account on our Student Community for the students to post.
In the meantime, here's a link to our Student Community, so you can poke around.

Richard,
Would your 11 year olds be interested in some communication with other 11 and 12 years olds here in the US? We have some students blogging and podcasting and would love to start some communication. It might even be interesting to discuss the upcoming US election and the view from the UK.

Richard! Amazing how your job sounds just like mine (called a TRT). It'd be amazing sharing ideas sometime and see what you all do in the UK.
