The Lover

Her eyes and the tattoo on her hands are Palestinian,

Her name, Palestinian,

Her dreams and sorrow, Palestinian,

Her kerchief, her feet and body, Palestinian,

Her words and her silence, Palestinian,

Her voice, Palestinian,

Her birth and her death, Palestinian.

Hello Ellen!!!
I was wondering if you are interested in participating in our project with our youngest group, they started discussing what they do with their best friends , they are very excited.
I think our students would enjoy interacting about this subject
See you soon

Hi Ellen! I lived in Eugene Oregon for one year as a child and LOVED it - is there something called an OmniMuseum in Portland? There was some fantastic science museum we used to visit when we lived in Oregon that made a gigantic impression on my 9-year-old mind - but as is the way of the 9-year-old mind, I cannot remember what city it was in! :-)

Ellen,
Since our district aggressively supports Open Source, we also share our programs. If your IT is interested in exploring hosting a site like ours, I can put you in touch with our IT Director.

Ellen,
I'm guessing you saw the Wagner podcast done by a second grade class. Various teachers in our district have been working with podcasts for about 2 years now. Our district has set up a district housed Open Source social networking program modifying ELGG ( and Open Source program) for students to post blogs and podcasts.
As a TOSA I also do training on podcasting. I'm thinking that the easiest thing to do is to give you the link to my Wiki so you can access all the podcasting instructions.

You can email me if you have any questions.
I hope this helps.
