Is Michigan professor's assessment of technology in education correct?

John King researches and promotes the use of technology in education as a professor in the School of Information and vice provost for academic information at the University of Michigan. He says it won't be two or three years, but an entire generation of time, before computers and technology are fully integrated into the way kids and adults learn. I have not read the entire article but from what I am reading here--- this is so typical of the response fro many. If so, it is because the adults in charge of the system do not understand. We are NOT in our student's world. Until we get into it, we will not use the means available. THEY are very interested and eagerly use the options offered. We as educators do not offer them and are afraid in many cases of what we don't know.

I am am going to the kids directly, and the results so far are amazing! See my page an website for more. Tks!
