Myspace, Spam, Safe Practice, Business and Children Making Me Think To The Future!

From my experience, I get more spam through my work and personal emails, despite all the firewalls, especially at work.

I am finding that those who email through my 'myspace' are those who really wish to be involved in the charity, want more information, wish to join, wish to donate, or are just willing to help spread the word. After 4 weeks not one email that was not of interest - no spam.

Just Starting Out!

I have spent this summer learning so much about blogging, wikis, and all the other Web 2.0 stuff. I am so excited to start the school year and integrate all these wonderful things into my teaching. wiki, blog, web 2.0, oh my!

Technology supports for special needs

I've spent 35+ years as a special education teacher. Each year I find that the more I use technology to support, bridge, overcome learning issues in my students, the more I and others see what they can do. The "dis" falls away from abled and they succeed. I wish I had learned this sooner.

AMSU Course 2007

I´ll be in Amsterdam from 12 - 19 August 2007 to learn about video and audio use in the classroom. I look forward to my stay there, hoping to learn a bit more about teaching CALL. The course is Comenius funded and the program looks very promising.
