A bad case of Friday Afternoon

It's a bad sign when I'd rather write my first blog entry than I would work on one of the projects stacked up on my desk. Soon, though, I'll be able to justify heading home . . .

If you're reading this, you've probably really, really bored.

I'm a web developer who has spent a fair amount of his professional life working for educational institutions. Most of that time was spend working for a university, and now I'm work for a K-12 support center. We're doing a lot of different web projects, using a variety of technologies and tools . . . and it's a lot of fun.

My educational background, just to make it insane, is in creative writing. I have an MFA on the wall and no novel . . . which is why I'm hacking code.

Anyway, maybe future posts will be more interesting. But the clock keeps ticking, and soon I'll be able to head for home. . .
