If I happen to meet her, I will!
It's probable here in Istanbul, you know. Especially in the community of English teachers.:)

Thank you very much for your comments and support Leigh. I hope that the project will continue to develop. Unfortunately, it's the last day of the academic term here, tomorrow. But as soon as the next term starts in September, I intend to do some extension activities with my students. Besides, I would like to attend the annual Autumn Teachers Conference, here at Robert College, to share what we've experienced and achieved through the Lunch Box Project. I'm grateful to Jess for the idea, really! So, I believe this experience will guide us all in our future activities and collaboration.

Here are some resources that I have found quite useful. Good luck in your quest! How is Azerbaijan? I always wanted to go! (I taught in Turkey one summer... and never made it over!)

D5 resources, in case you are looking for more information.
The authors' website, constantly updated

These resources have been developed by the Centre of Excellence for Literacy (a provincial initiative for the Anglo sector, by Lynn Senecal) and might give you an idea of how literacy can be supported.

Hi Leigh, My sincere apologies. I corrected my blog address. It does not have the @ symbol at all. This is a direct link for you.

Hi Leigh, I'm from the United States in the Northeastern Region.
The state I am from is Connecticut. I am excited to know this is global. My address is a blog. I use it mainly to communicate with fellow bibliophiles. Many of us share in what we call Sunday Salon. The image on my page links back to the Sunday Salon main site. Leigh, I will be signing up for a Twitter Account, but I've been swamped with work. I am very excited about this site. I also have a blog that I was using for technology and Web 2.0 in the classroom. I guess it is time to rework it. Your country looks beautiful. How nice to live right on the Caspian Sea.

Hola! You should try to apply to my school then!!! We have so much technology going on, and they are very supportive. I have been sent to 2 international tech conferences to the US in the past 5 years... the last one was the NECC conference... the best tech conference. I just loved it.
I am also going to apply for an ebeam. They are only going to place 2 in the Elem classrooms now. Most highschool and MS classes already have MM projectors. I was not sure if I really wanted the ebeam or just the projector... Does it really make a difference?
Check out our website: www.amersol.edu.pe
My web page follows this path: Elementary-Spanish-Ms. Ginny Tori.
When you get to my web page, click on the button that says TTT and you will find a bunch of cool websites for the young learners you might want to pass on.
Get back to me when you´ve explored it.
Any other PYP teachers/schools on this web 2.0 site? How can I find them?
Chau!

Leigh, just by reading about you... I just want to let you know that I work at the American School of Lima Peru which is also a PYP school. Could I see your school`s website and your classroom webpage? I would love to see what another PYP school from the other side of the world does. How long have you been PYP?
Ginny
