About Me
I teach biology, chemistry, and physics online using Moodle and Elluminate as a volunteer with VHSG. I am also the site's co-admin and train in the new volunteers.

My background is actually in illustration and portraiture in watercolor and pencil. More recently I have been delving in to digital tools and Flash to create course material for my classes.

We're looking into the 1000 version now. I've seen in my research there also applications that will double and read web pages to students as well, an added benefit since there's so much that can accessed via a browser these days.

Hi Tammy:

Thanks! I've very excited about the Moodle initiative. We have many hurdles to overcome but we're pumped nonetheless.

At this point we have the English department and a couple of math and science teachers very keen.

And you can probably expect to be hearing more from me in February as we get things up and running.

Again, many thanks for the offer. I'll be taking you up on the offer!

Just stopping by to let you know that I haven't forgotten. Things have been incredibly busy and should remain the same in May. After that, let's connect. I'd love to hear more then about your program and training for using the tools. Thanks for your patience!
