Dave Eveland replied to Antwon Lincoln's discussion iPads in the classroom...can you see it?
"I agree, though there are some ways around this... showing young children how to use them, buying protective cases (these are really kid 'friendly') and by limiting their use for young children. They actually use them in the school my…"

Dave Eveland commented on Amber Rupert's blog post Let's choose Apple!
"I think it could go both ways.  Ipads are not cheap - and students (with instruction) could learn to use the IWB just as well - and could honestly be more appropriate for younger children.  Perhaps a school or classroom has or is equipped…"

Dave Eveland replied to Victoria Lawson's discussion Pop Quizzes...Good? Or Bad?
"I think if the pop quizzes were less about the pop and were more about "let's see how much you know, and see how we can improve our memory about the things we're not recalling as well yet", I'd have liked that more. After…"

Dave Eveland replied to Morgan Leigh Hobbs's discussion Integrating Music into the Classroom

Dave Eveland replied to Cat White's discussion Tech Support for BYOD

To take a screenshot on a MacBook Air, I use one hand to press the command key with the shift button, and with my other hand I press the 4 key. Once I press these three keys all at once, it will take a picture of the screen that I am currently seeing. /Users/Kayla/Desktop/Screen Shot 2014-01-28 at 7.13.14 PM.png

Thanks! I have always been the person who never stops asking questions. Even when in everyday life situations like listening to music. If I hear a song that my friend shows me I will always ask what do you think that means or why did he say that etc. So brace yourself!

Hi Dave,

With your interest in Education Technology integration, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.
