Hi Dan:
I am a middle school teacher in Missouri. I am slowly getting my students and colleagues to use my Ning blog like a virtual classroom. Last year I was able to get the site approved by our tech dept. This year I am working on fleshing out the classes. I am adding a syllabus to each subject, a calendar showing assignments and due dates. etc. I hope to set it up similar to the online classrooms that were used when I took class at the University of Phoenix online. This year I will be adding Government to my computer and economics classes. I look forward to collaborating with you. It sounds like you are very experienced.

Hi Dan,

With your interest in Technology and Web Tools, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording conducted by Nellie Deutsch on Technology Integration.
