This is the first time I have taught World History in many many years. I am looking for a great project for Ancient Civ. I want the kids to be able to pick the civilization they are most interested in and then produce something. Any ideas???

Hey Jeanie,

Good luck teaching world history. I think you'll have a lot of fun teaching this. I came across this site created by a Mr. Donn. There are a ton of lesson plans and projects you can do in the class organized by civilization. I hope this helps you out.

Travel brochure, ABC book, podcast describing the travels, Glogster collage poster of events, Passport, Postcard, wiki about civilization, photo story....

With that broad of a topic and open guidelines from you (which is great) the possibilities are endless!
