Where can I find good, podcast safe music downloads that are simply instrumental?
I am starting a podcast club at my school and am looking to build a library with only instrumental music. Does anyone have a good resource for me....or advice? Thanks!!!!!!

Hey there Bobby! There is a site that I use with my students. This is a site with short loops (90 sec is the max on most and some last 3 secs) but the kids like all the different types of music loops - http://www.flashkit.com/loops/
AWESOME!!!!!!! Thanks!
Last year I purchased some copyright free music for use in creating podcasts. (All my things are in storage or I'd give you the title of the disc.) I recall finding the disc by doing a search using "copyright free" music and coming up with quite a bit. I also recall finding things using iTunes with those search parameters.

Also, there's instrumental music for use with podcasts on Garageband which is the app I use to create my casts.

I'll try to get back to you with the name of the cd I bought but, I think you'll make a good start with the above ideas.

Good luck!
I've shared my experiences and resources for podcasting in my blog: http://yoursmarticles.blogspot.com/2009/05/podcast-year-in-review-p... For music soundtracks, I actually found TONS of midi sites and then converted them to .mp3 files. (www.freemidi.org) What is great about this technique is you can work with songs and lyrics familiar to the students.

I hope you find this useful.

I use www.freeplaymusic.com for all my instrumental backgrounds. Unbelievable selection and very deep search engine.
