Hi Mathew. I was wondering if your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. Perhaps you have some educator contacts you could direct me to. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
You should take a look at authorstream's web based power point viewing platform that has a podcast feature. I also recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom.

Shoot me a quick note at rh(at)nextvista.org, and I'll send you a copy of the most recent one. It will be great to have your feedback on what we're doing!
I recognize your name from the Open Court site! I use OC's First Grade Curriculum. I visit your site every time I start a new unit. Keep posting your great ideas. They are such a time saver!!! Much appreciation from PA :)
Even as a 95 year old with a fake name, there would still be no disguising of your creativity, Matthew. Thank you for the invitation to join in. This site will be a siren site, beckoning to me as a teach.....
Hi Everyone!
I'm a newbie! Thanks Mathew for inviting me to this great site! I did not know that there was such a thing. I look forward to knowing all of you and learning from all of you!
I've got a sneaking suspicion you might be a good person to know. We did a gigantic project last winter/spring, funded by a technology grant. You can see it here---http://connections.smsd.org/csi The only component that wasn't 100% effective was video! (we are still working on it and the 6th graders have moved on to middle school!) I may need to call on you for help! Welcome aboard, N.

Hi Mathew
I am involved in a European Union funded education project looking at how to use digital comics in schools http://www.educomics.org
I am looking for websites and forums that focus on the use of digital comics in education, any suggestions would be very welcome.
I have a good list of websites that have comic tools, this is mainly about using the comics within the school.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Joel
