What Do I Know?

Larry Sanger's essay about Citizedium and new ways of acquiring knowledge is interesting; not because he stumps for his new online encyclopedia, but because he discusses the evolution of authoritative knowledge. Hi Rhonda. I was wondering if you have students or educator friends who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

We have a school-age child that we actually like, so I want a job that doesn't eat me alive. I would like to be an instructional librarian or at least in a position where I can teach or train on a regular basis. I'm not picky about where: private K-12 school, public library, community college, university, corporation. As long as I can see my kid, I'll be happy. I know that a lot of universities want you to basically give up on your family in order to have a job. We just don't roll like that! Atlanta also has Trader Joes. We have made a commitment to only move to a place where we can shop at TJs. It is a sickness. ;)
