My interests are using technology and online instruction to teach students sound clinical desicion making in a safe and effective way. I found this article about the Ann Myers Medical Center in Second Life. Although I don't believe Second Life is ready for conducting formalized training that utilize things like the Ann Myers simulations, I do think that this is closer to the kinds of elements that can be added to pre-clinical (and even clinical) training to assist in the development of communication and critical thinking skills.…
