It is official, the Kansas City, KS school district is providing 5700 laptops to kids in our high schools! I am extremely excited, but very nervous at the same time. We are planning on rolling out laptops the end of October. I'll keep updating my blog on how we are progressing.
Hi Julie. I was wondering if your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. If not, perhaps you have some other educator contacts you could direct me to. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
Congrats and have fun! I too teach in a Kansas school and we are on our fifth year with the 1 to 1 laptops. I love it! In fact, our new laptops were not ready for the first week and half of school and I was scrambling for ideas. Technology has become a constent in my classroom. It was like having my right arm chopped off when they were not ready.
