- I teach technology to students K-5. Working with students and teachers to create motivating projects is challenging and exciting. The best thing I've heard in the last year is from Marco Torres. He has found a way to give "wings" to the work his student's create. Through PBWorks I am working on the creation of a collaborative community. I've taught in Saudi Arabia for 4 years. But am currently teaching in the Cherry Creek district in Colorado. This is my 13th year.

Collaborating with 4th/5th graders

I am a tech teacher of 4th and 5th graders (& other things). I am trying to find ways to
give many of our students an audience for their work. Many of them are
struggling readers/writers. They might create better pieces of writing
if other students from around the world are reading their work. I have

This sounds like a neat idea. My class would probably have to participate on a class level rather than individually due to concerns (both parental and administrative).
