Yeah, we've embedded Google Apps stuff into Moodle (and WPMU) and it works great. Another thing to think about is uploading or creating in Google Docs, then instead of uploading it to Moodle, just "Link to web site" so you can modify…

We are looking at going gmail from exchange as well. Why would they forward any email to their "current" email... if you're going to be using that email instead of MS exchange? Or am I misunderstanding your plan?

TICT Tech Support in the Osseo School District. I'm currently working with Moodle this summer. I'm also playing and coaching soccer.

I graduated from college in 2007 with a Computer Information Systems degree. I never thought I would be working in a school district but I love it! I'm a computer geek and love technology but I also love sports and working out, reading, music and just relaxing : )

Howdy! How can I verify--from Google--that there is no cost for 60K plus users in a public school district setting? Thanks so much for your response and feedback!

Hi Melissa,

With your work in Technology for you school district, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Wiziq also as a Moodle plug in that lets you go directly into its virtual classroom from Moodle.

Here’s a public class recording conducted by Nellie Deutsch on Technology Integration.

Hi Melissa!

Happy New Year! I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a nationwide Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get more students involved from Minnesota!

You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

That is so true about the colleagues teaching you and then you get to a stage where the students are actually teaching you as well.

Hello Melissa and welcome here. I love all your comments in your introduction as they are my sentiments as well. However, once staff see the wonderful benefits of web2.0, they gradually start to come on board as well.
