Excited to be attending - a little nervous too. Not sure what to expect! First experience of necc and edubloggercon f2f - used to reading about it online.
The all-day "unconference" for educational bloggers and members of Classroom 2.0. This is a free event with the space donated by ISTE.org. More information at www.EduBloggerCon.com!
Me too. Let's meet in the morning. :-) I'll be the one looking tired because I'm on CA time and still awake!! (1:22am and not even close to being tired). :)
I work as an ICT teacher in an international school in Hong Kong. I've been following your work with Samarost after using the game last year. In two weeks we have got three of our class teachers starting to use the game as a hook for looking at settings within fantasy genres.
Hi Kim,
I've tagged you as part of the K12 Online conference meme. Have a read of my blog post about it to see what the task is...

Thanks for your message about our Voki from VOTW. Sorry I haven't replied until now. I thought your classes Voki was great, and you're right, it was good to hear another Aussie accent!

Hi Kim - noticed you like messing about with web2.0 apps in class. Well you should check out YouFig.com - it's idea for student and class collaboration. I still have a few invitations left. Let me know if you'd like one.
Hello, I am a teacher in the United States town of Falmouth, (Cape Cod) Massachusetts and would like to invite you as a friend so that we can share our school related ideas. I teach computer graphics and webdesign and also interested in many cultures and thought it would be great to hear the kinds of things you do in your schools. I can share what we do here. I also have many years teaching in the elementary grades so have input there as well.
Check out our series of free live workshops around the United States on the use of Web 2.0 technologies in education. Coming up: Sacramento, New York, and Boston. More details and information here.
