Future of Conventions

One possibility is to provide a Web-conference with the regional sites, so there is a sense of a state-wide presence. Also, webinars could be offered to round out some of the workshop offerings, which could be offered on all regional sites at the same time. All it would take is WIFI and have the teachers bring their laptops or offer it in the techlab.  See More

Bias Against Texas Private Schools Continues

According to the National Center for Education Statistics 25% of all schools, nationwide, are private, serving 11% of all students. In recent public statements, Texas public educators show their dismissive, if not outright contempt for private schooling.
