Permalink Reply by Keith Schoch on April 6, 2011 at 7:41am I'd second what Garrison suggested, and also recommend PhotoStory if you're simply connecting together a number of static images with some narration dubbed over.
If you google Web 2.0 and wiki together, you'll find a couple of wikis which list a vast variety of tech solutions like these, and they're typically free, collaborative, and user friendly.

Do you have any movie making software on the computers that you have access to? What platform of computers do you use?
Do have a video camera available and software?
One idea without video making software, you can create a Powerpoint and then record the Powerpoint and make it into a movie. In order for the kids to show their ideas, they can create them in Word or directly in Powerpoint.
Also check out http://www.mathtrain.tv/ . There are teacher created math videos here and student created.
Other ideas of screencasting see a list here: http://mashable.com/2008/02/21/screencasting-video-tutorials/
Its a start. Let me know how else to help.
