When will the exam boards catch up with all of this... and how do we move forward while still having to address a results agenda ??

Nobody on this Earth cares what I did in my 16+ exams.... why do we use it now to such an extent???

After the show

Realising that even the keynote speakers are not fully aware of the revolution that this 2.0 software can cause. Brought down with a bump by the reality of inappropriate use of voice threads by some of my students... or was it just creative play ??

ICT show

I'm off to an ICT show at Torquay in the morning. My school has a display stand there where we are promoting creativity and collaboration.

We have a selection of students' work online and some great ideas.

I was just wondering how many of those at the show will be trying out web 2.0 apps and joining social networks like this...

Learning environments for the future with Ken Dyson promises a talk on web 2.0 stuff which I am really looking forward to.

Let's hope… Continue

Getting going

Just amazed and fascinated today when looking at the ideas flowing around on classroom 2.0

Some great links to a whole range of wonderful educational tools. And it's all ( mostly ) free !!!

We already have the expertise amongst us, we don't need to buy it in; just share it around !

The next step is getting more of my colleagues to realise the potential of this and then watch them fly !!

School's Out for Summer !!!

Looking forward to the various WAP applications that use google maps and such with my GPS enabled phone. as I tour this flooded country for the next couple of weeks. Could do with some great ideas for innovative use of GPS in Science classes.

great comments in discussion about focusing on the issues of learning itself first, and technology second. And I totally agree with you about how wonderful the tools are, and how we've got to spread them and watch our colleagues fly... Thanks for all your contributions on CR2.0!

Dave, its great to see other educationalists from the UK hear in classroom 2.0. As an aside I have found it hard to find other teachers working with 'older' students using and applying webware. It would be good to catch up at some point.
