When will the exam boards catch up with all of this... and how do we move forward while still having to address a results agenda ??
Nobody on this Earth cares what I did in my 16+ exams.... why do we use it now to such an extent???

Realising that even the keynote speakers are not fully aware of the revolution that this 2.0 software can cause. Brought down with a bump by the reality of inappropriate use of voice threads by some of my students... or was it just creative play ??

I'm off to an ICT show at Torquay in the morning. My school has a display stand there where we are promoting creativity and collaboration.
We have a selection of students' work online and some great ideas.
I was just wondering how many of those at the show will be trying out web 2.0 apps and joining social networks like this...
Learning environments for the future with Ken Dyson promises a talk on web 2.0 stuff which I am really looking forward to.

Just amazed and fascinated today when looking at the ideas flowing around on classroom 2.0
Some great links to a whole range of wonderful educational tools. And it's all ( mostly ) free !!!
We already have the expertise amongst us, we don't need to buy it in; just share it around !
The next step is getting more of my colleagues to realise the potential of this and then watch them fly !!

Looking forward to the various WAP applications that use google maps and such with my GPS enabled phone. as I tour this flooded country for the next couple of weeks. Could do with some great ideas for innovative use of GPS in Science classes.
Next week I want to instal a tool for interacte work within our group.

SO much you can do with 2.0 - I love using our wiki

Even used it for introductory day and getting the students to stay in contact with one another
I focus on Web 2.0 as to education and I´m deeply involved in EU-projects like Comenius and eTwinng.
