Do you want a site for the kids to tell their own story?
Try www.realebooks.com
(The kids can also READ several books made and published by others!)

If you want a site where kids can LISTEN to a story,
try www.storylineonline.net

I have a lot of elementary literacy links for teachers at www.mrstg.com/teacher_links.htm. Been "collecting" sites for years! :-)

I suggest you go to del.icio.us and join if you haven't. Put in the tag digitalstorytelling. You should get a lot of links to check on. Not all of them are for little kids but I have used some of them. You might like Voice Thread and the Fairy Tales part of We Tell Stories.
