Lisa,
Thank you for these awesome resources!! I've accepted a new position as an Advanced Academics/GT Specialist at a service center, so I'm not a campus inst. tech any longer, but I've bookmarked this information to share with…
I have helped numerous schools do what you are describing. Here are some helpful resources:

I run a video production club at a local high school. Often we choose another extracurricular activity, such as a sports team or play, which the students are also involved in. Other members of the team or group often request a copy when the project…
Hi... Are you still teaching a tech club? I saw your post from last year and would like to know what you did with your club. I'm just starting one at my school this week.
Thanks,
Jodi
Hi Bonnie,
I just joined this group because I'm starting a technology club at my school and I saw your post (over a year ago) to another teacher who was starting a club. You mentioned starting off with an "interest survey" and a link…
I have 15 years experience in public ed. and am a technology integration specialist for 2008-2009. I have a M. Ed. in Educational Leadership and a technology applications certification. I'm a busy mother/stepmother of four. In addition to my passion for technology, my other interests include curriculum design, gifted ed., and brain-based research.
That is awesome what you do. How did you go about finding a job like that. I mean how many years did you teach before you ventured to say the least in that field that you are currently in? I am afraid that even though i have a lot of tech savvy knowledge about stuff -- it would be difficult for districts to take me seriously until i have a couple of years under my belt. What type of resume did you create ? any ideas and inputs would be really great -- thanks for the lamar uni direction.
With your work in Technology Integration at your Texas School District, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.
I'm sending out messages to everyone I know right now, and this classroom20 network is no exception. (I've also sent this out on other Ning networks you may be a part of.) My name is Alyshia Olsen; I am a 20 year old college student from Olin College of Engineering. I am a part of a group of 6 Olin College students (we're in Needham,MA, and engineering students) who has taken a year off to work on an education related project. Since you are in the 'connecting content and technology' groun, I thought you might be interested! Our project is called AlightLearning, and this is our "short" project description:
Under the assumption that within ten years, the landscape of modern education will have fully integrated what we now define as new classroom media: video, online collaboration, open source curriculum and other web tools, we hope to pioneer a web software tool that acts as a platform for this new media, bringing the power of the web and its tools to students, teachers and parents in a secure, comfortable and innovative environment. Our goal is to have our free software at a pilot middle school by April 15th, 2009, continuing to develop and coordinate with our users to create a product that other schools want to pilot and use at their schools, while allowing individual teachers to implement this tool in their own classroom.
Our project, titled Alight Learning, is currently trying to win an idea competition on Ideablob.com You can find us at http://ideablob.com/3975 . We would love your support in the form of a vote within the next couple days, but more importantly we'd love your feedback and comments. Our description on Ideablob is short, and even the one above hardly gets at many of the issues we would like to take a stab at solving, but at least it's a start.
Feel free to email me back, check out alightlearning.com, anything you like!
Thanks,
Alyshia Olsen

I'm interested in the Intel training you did. Was it for teachers? Did you like it? Did your ISD have to sponsor it? And, one more questions, what kinds of things did you learn that were really interesting to you or that you think you might use?
Hi CC,
SITACT Inc has developed the Moodle Analytics module for dashboard style graphical reporting to track the progress of the online classes. Have a look at the demo at www.sitact.net.
I love the blog and am jealous of all the teachers who went to the NECC. I'm a tech integrator as well in my district w/ a little networking/web design on the side so it's great to read what you have done.
Glad to meet you! Hope to see you at NECC I will be helping with the Apple classes. I am a mother of three boys, so I am impressed that you have four. You are a superwoman! Thanks for the invite!
