What is Web 2.0?

I have been on a mission lately to find out what Web 2.0 really is all about. I really enjoyed the video on the main page that explained Web 2.0. Still, I am not sure what it really entails and how it will revolutionize the web.

Join Classroom 2.0
I do have one kindergarten teacher that truly wants to get involved in technology with her students. I may even have a second one that would be interested as well. Let keep in touch and develop a few projects. Maybe we could establish a project about holidays and how they are celibrated in our local community. I would think we could come up with one each semester. Maybe between Peter Dawson, yourself, and my teacher(s) we could pull this off. Hey, just another thought, we could possibly establish some video sessions between the three of our school systems.
I will be more than happy to get my elementary teachers involved in some technology collaboration projects. Just let me know the grade levels and I will find teachers at those levels looking to get involved.
So happy to find another elementary educator. I teach technology to k-5th graders. I am anxious to share ideas. We are working towards web 2.0 tools for next fall!
