Hi Mike --

It's great to so many Canucks in here in CR 2.0. You might want to join a group called "Canadians Mashup". If you join, please use the Welcome forum at http://www.classroom20.com/group/canadianmashup/forum/topics/welcome-to-canadian-mashup to introduce yourself.

Hi Mike,

With your work in Technology in Educatior for Think Global Schools, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.

Here’s a Public Class on Technology Integration you might be interested in.

Hello Mike,

Would any of your Appleby College classes like to partner with the World Mind Network and their new Student Leaders program? It requires 1 hour a month from participating students, and gives them exposure to leaders in Economics, Science, Sustainability, and the Environment. Assignments can be adjusted to conform to curricular goals. It's a good thing to put on college apps and resumes. There is no charge to anyone. Contact us at worldmindnetwork@gmail.com.

We're familiar with Scratch. There are lots of similarities. However, we haven't focused as much on the goal of teaching programming concepts. Rather, we've focused more on extensibility and re-useability so people can collaborate to build new software without programming.

I'm very interested in your thoughts, and would be happy to help with projects if you have something in mind.
