I have been working in e-learning in both corporate training and in educational settings. Most of my jobs involve creating things in isolation-I become both the designer and builder. I am interested in connecting with others in the field and finding appropriate uses for new technology tools.

Hi Lisa -- I've been away from Ning for a few months. I use instructional blogging for all of my courses so have plenty of blogging going on elsewhere. I teach in the College of Education; this will be my last year (9 yrs) at Concordia. I serve as Associate Professor of Educational Technology. Additionally, I am a member of a higher education (private institutions) ed tech consortium. Oregon Technology in Education Network (OTEN) includes University of Portland, Willamette University, Pacific University (Forest Grove and Eugene), George Fox University, Concordia University, and Corban College.

I am deeply steeped in local educational technology. Our consortium is in the 8th year of federal Dept. of Education ed tech grants. Please feel free to connect again if you are interested.
