Wetpaint wiki Hi Lisa, just wondered if yo've tried Wetpaint wiki which seems to be specialising in education? I couldn';t use it for my students as it requires a higher level of Web 2.0 understanding (or maybe it's my inexperience in…

I wonder about using Diigo in the classroom. It doesn't seem to get blocked by my institution, which blocks almost everything in sight, but I can't seem to find a wiki aspect to Diigo. Diigo is simply amazing for research and sharing that…

I'll have another go at embedding Google calendar. Last time it didn't work for me. I really need a very simple tutorial to experiment with!

However, I found (also using PB wiki this way) that my students got really confused by this and all the more so if they used a different computer to the one they were working on the week before. Honestly, here is real potential not being addressed -…

I'm intrigued by this question, Erin. I do hope someone adds to your comments. I can't, I'm afraid as I'm not working in this area at the moment, though I used to. Also, I haven't managed to collaborate with other teachers…

Enjoying Wikispaces, so far, so good.

Just wanting to let you all know that I'm following these conversations about wikispaces and learning from your contributions. I enjoy reading about how engaging and empowering online combined with face-face work is for students and teachers. I feel fortunate to have embarked on wikis and Ning and everything else - just in time, I think. I wonder if teachers are using both Ning and Wikispaces (or other wikis) together to enhance their work?

I must try pb wiki again, then Kelly as I found the password situation was too daunting for my ESL students (who have quite low level computer and literacy skills). I've avoided pb wiki for a while now as it seemed expensive for me to maintain…

Hi Jo, Just wondered when you've finished compiling your model wikis and tips for teachers whether you could share them with us - maybe by uploading a file? This sounds really useful. Thanks.

Hi Rebecca,

With your interest in Online Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording conducted by Nellie Deutsch on Technology Integration.
