Wetpaint wiki
Hi Lisa, just wondered if yo've tried Wetpaint wiki which seems to be specialising in education? I couldn';t use it for my students as it requires a higher level of Web 2.0 understanding (or maybe it's my inexperience in…
I wonder about using Diigo in the classroom. It doesn't seem to get blocked by my institution, which blocks almost everything in sight, but I can't seem to find a wiki aspect to Diigo. Diigo is simply amazing for research and sharing that…
However, I found (also using PB wiki this way) that my students got really confused by this and all the more so if they used a different computer to the one they were working on the week before. Honestly, here is real potential not being addressed -…
I'm intrigued by this question, Erin. I do hope someone adds to your comments. I can't, I'm afraid as I'm not working in this area at the moment, though I used to. Also, I haven't managed to collaborate with other teachers…
Just wanting to let you all know that I'm following these conversations about wikispaces and learning from your contributions. Hi Jo,
Just wondered when you've finished compiling your model wikis and tips for teachers whether you could share them with us - maybe by uploading a file? This sounds really useful. Thanks.
I teach literacy and communication to ESL students, migrants and refugees. I'm also taking a Communicating in Online Technologies course to keep up with wikis and moodles and everything else!

With your interest in Online Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording conducted by Nellie Deutsch on Technology Integration.
Welcome to Classroom 2.0 Rebecca. There are many great ideas and tools to explore here. If you look down the right hand side you will also notice links to subjects and tools that may be of help.
Happy exploring,
