While I do agree that technology is not always the best option, the same as sometimes using a pencil is more appropriate than a pen.  But I think one of the problems some people have, is they try to infuse technology into the lessons that they…

It is several years down the road. If we do a 1-1, it will be with iPad (or similar) devices or Google Chrome OS netbooks. We would continue with the laptop carts, computer labs, etc. that we already have for content creation, at least in the near…

Thanks Justin!  I was wondering how many students and staff do you have?  Also it might be helpful to know how many servers you have? Once again, thanks!

Hey Paul. Sorry it took me so long to accept. I haven't visited this site for quite some time, but will try to get back into using it.

Paul,

I noticed your posting concerning the best set up of a computer classroom and your kind words about our products. They are appreciated! Let us know if you need anything in the future... We've expanded greatly over the years and now have offering for not just computer desks but also laptop carts, instructional lecterns/desks, rack-mount cabinets, video conferencing carts, etc.... Take care and best of luck the rest of 2009!

Sincerely,

Scott Dorn

Hi Paul,

With your work as a Network Administrator, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.
