About Me
I am an information designer, working in the field of technical communications with over 25 years of experience in the production of cross-media, multilingual technical information products. I have expertise in single sourcing, component content management, collaborative authoring, and localization.

During my career I have worked with some of the best, cutting-edge hardware and software teams in the fields of medical robotics, pharmaceutical sciences, aerospace technology, virtual reality, and information processing & presentation; and was fortunate enough to help organize the Third World Wide Web Conference in Darmstadt (April 10-14 1995).

I also have extensive knowledge and a good understanding of the current e-learning and social network technologies; an appreciation of the impact these technologies are having on the Public and Corporate Education sectors; and the opportunities for creative products this presents.

I am currently studying towards a Masters in Online and Distance Learning to fulfill my ambition to work in the field of ICT for Development.

Hi Kevin,

With your work in Information Design, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.

Here’s a Public Class on Technology Integration you might be interested in.
