eTextBooks Boon or Bust? Any hope at all?

Please share your experiences with eTextbooks. The struggle for textbook publishers to make the shift to digital media has had an impact on our own adoption. For the last few years we have been trying to use some of the offerings of Pearson, McGraw Hill, and others.
