Hi Dr. Hughes. I was wondering if you have colleagues and students who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

Arnie: Thanks for the info about the dance professor but we are going to have our hands full just making the Saudi/Hawaiian connection happen. Right now I am sitting in a meeting where the Kumus (hula teachers) are trying to decide for this year's Hula Drama. As a non-native, I don't have much influence, but they have used the word "sustainability" several times which is definitely encouraging.

Dr Hughes: One of the Profs here at UIC teaches African Dance, maybe you would want to have a chat with her and perhaps get her company involved to include another cultural dance represented. We are, after all, in a global age of knowledge! Thanks for setting the record straight on the proper ID for the islands. Been to them enough times to know that name is a no-no! I will be happy to help you with the project. Best regards, Arnie

Dr Hughes: The dance collaboration project sounds very interesting. I sure we'll talk more about that. Years ago I had considered taking a job with U of H at Manoa. Mahalo, Arnie
