LS 591.01 Students, I finally decided. This will be our home away from home. At this location I will have you do several things:

  • Post picture of yourself and introduce yourself again here as well as in eCollege
  • Communicate with one another by commenting on blog postings

  • Post more pics if you will to help us know one another
  • Post your Wordles

  • Post your entries to the Social Network-Palooza…

Chicago is great! The city itself has alot to offer from festivals to museums and of course shopping for those that are shopaholics. I'm not, but I do like to look and love people watching which is easy to do in such a large city. I actually live in one of the nothern suburbs, Lake Forest, but I am walking distance to the metra which is an easy ride to the city. Lake Forest where I live is lovely. I can walk to the metra, the public library, village center and to the beach on Lake Michigan and my kids can ride their bikes or walk to school. I'm really enjoying not being so car dependent! I think Chicago is a neat city to visit and offers alot of options. Hopefully you can come back some day and if you do give me a call.

Did you figure out how to add me to the class? I'm going to start working on my page, but I was just wondering.

Aloha Ann,

I recently came across your 1998 article on teachers' perceptions and use of interactive whiteboards. I am especially interested in the survey instrument that you used as I am planning on a similar research topic for my master's project. Can you direct me to where I can find a copy of the actual 67 survey questions that were used in the study? Thanks!

Hi Mary,

With your work in Technology for Sam Houston State U, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.

Here’s a Public Class on Technology Integration you might be interested in.
