- Librarian, student, wife, stepmom and expectant mother (due March 3rd)... I am one busy individual. I am spending LOTS of time researching strollers and car seats and other baby gear, trying to find the 'perfect' Tahoe and sell my beautiful Mini Cooper S, and working on balancing school and sleep (this is difficult).
My husband and I have two girls and two dogs. We are very active and going non-stop.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE being a librarian. This is the best job I've ever had. We had talked baout staying home with the baby, but I don't think I can give up this spot. It's too hard to find another one! I put a lot of work into opening this new library and it is still a work in progress. One of my goals is to maintain the teaching aspect of old-school librarians. If we want administrators to see why we're so special, we need to demonstrate it. And this way, I get to interact with kids even more.
My next big project is book club. Any tips/tricks, pass them along!
