Hi Ariane
I wondered if anyone else from e-learning was here! I've been really impressed with the range of discussion I've seen so far and the ideas and connections being generated across continents. It will be interesting to see if our paths "cross" here, or whether we pursue different tangents - and what our experiences of 'learning' are!

Hi Ariane. Thank you for getting back to me. It sounds like you have easy access to computer labs. That's great. I can take my students to the computer lab about once every 2 weeks, but 90% of them have internat at home, so they are able to blog quite easily. I am happy that you and your students will be able to respond to our questions on the 19th. We are definately looking forward to it. I will put the questions on my blog on the 18th. Thank you so much for being a part of this.

Hi Ariane. Thank you so much for the message! I am really glad you want to participate in International Connections. I think it is a great, simple way to learn about other countries. So far, we have blogged with students from Turkey and Scotland and it has been very interesting learning about those countries from students that actually live there, not some boring book. It is defintately okay that your students a little younger than mine. No problem at all. What I have done so far, which has worked pretty well, I think, is post questions to my blog and your students then answer the questions. The questions deal with school and life in general, so basically, we just want your students to tell us anything they want or know about their school and their country. The questions give them some direction. We can also answer questions and tell your students about what our school is like and what our life is like in the USA. What do you think? Is it easy for your students to access the internet? Looking forward to hearing from you. I will post questions when you are ready if that is whats easiest for your. Thanks again,

Hi. Welcome to Classroom 2.0 I am starting a new program at my school called "International Connections." I am wondering if you would like to be a part of it. My Goal: to connect my students to other students around the world to learn about school and life in other countries. We would love it if your students would answer a few questions on my blog. I teach 6th grade (11-12 year olds) So far, I have connected with Turkey, Scotland, and Brazil. Visit my blog to see what International Connections has done so far. http://waterforsixthgrade.blogspot.com Thank you for your consideration.
