The Curious Incident

I'm about to start a new unit for the HSC based on Mark Haddon's novel 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time'. I'm wondering if anyone had any interesting approaches to teaching this unit that incorporated web 2.0 technologies? I've used blogging in my previous unit. I'm curious (!) about using wikis, but do I need to have access to something like Moodle to set one up? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated :) Jenny

Hi Jenny, and welcome to classroom2.0. I am a teacher from Australia, in a small country p-12 school in Western Victoria. There are quite a few Australian teachers as members here. As there are now 20000members, they do come from all over the world. So make sure that you make friends and follow the discussions and join some groups.

Hi Jenny,

I haven't come across any other students from UTS. I am quite impressed with the online dialogue here and have made international connections with a teacher from the U.S. We are working on an online project with our students.
We are both teachers and I feel our paths might cross at some stage in this online community. All the best with online learning.
