I created a classroom blog in 2007. Unfortunately I am unable to use it with my students in the new district where I teach. I still post lessons and resources weekly. The blog was much more useful when my students could interact with it though....blogger is "blocked" at our school.

Hi ya,

Could you please help me determine which blogging platforms are most popular with educators and why.

Thanks,
Karenne

Checking back to see whats new in this area! I have a project to clear up then I can begin working with the teachers on wikis and blogs. Can hardly wait to get these setup. I feel so behind in terms of infusing technology use for teachers and students.

Hi. I'm new to this group. I am a Supervisor of Mathematics in a school district in Maryland. I'm interested in finding ways for my teachers to use blogs (and maybe wikis) to help each other to improve.

I look forward to hearing anything you find or observe.

Once I have some of our teachers onboard and actually using these web tools, I will be in a position to collaborate, observe, provide feedback, and most of all analyze the use of these tools along with the pros, cons, and pitfalls they encounter that would serve to improve their online presence.

Hi I am very interested in this topic in blogging and or message boards. We are still taking baby steps towards blogging with our teachers in our school division. I hope to change this around next school year, or at least take the first step. So here I am looking for help, advice, and information.

Social networking and blogging - are there teachers out there using this with feedback on it's impact on student learning, engagement and so on? I am looking for feedback from other professionals in education, as well as any direction to resources for these kind of collaborative tools.

My fourth graders (120+ of them!) have recently started blogging and would love to have blog buddies to read and share comments with. Anyone interested?
