What is Peer Coaching?

Peer Coaching is becoming a more popular alternative to other forms of professional learning when it comes to helping teachers integrate ICTs in their lessons.

Peer Coaching can be -
- centred around the needs of the student
- linked with powerful integration of ICT
- aligned with the goals and values of the school strategic plan
- onsite and close to the classroom
- ongoing with timely support for the teacher
- collaborative in nature
- reflective and self assessing
- effective and transferable to classroom practice

Hi Lindsay, Am from Uganda, I am interested in using web 2.0 tools such as Blogs in teaching university students. Do youhave good examples of good practices and ideas you can share with me on how I should go over this?

HI Helen
Thanks for starting this group! Sitting in a workshop here in Doha, Qatar with Karen Meyer and really wanted a collaborative sharing space that is not under the passworded umbrella of innovative teachers.
