Hello,
I am a university teacher and founder of Class.io we currently let teachers and students receive notifications and reminders of their homework in their facebook, linked to the site of their course.
I am interested in looking how teachers are using Facebook in their courses. For example one of my fellows has a course Facebook page where he posts course announcements and interesting news with very good results.
Thanks to all!
Hello Everyone,
I joined this group in hopes to meet a few educators that I can work with in the classrrom via skype. I currently teach business education at the high school level and would appreciate anyone responding who is interested in helping. Thank you.
Chris, I just joined this group and looked through your presentation notes. Looked very interesting. I am giving a presentation about social media in education in March and would like to use some of the resources you have listed. How was your presentation received? What was the overall acceptance for using facebook in the classroom?
I wanted to invite all teachers to check out the review website that I created. It might be helpful to teachers that have large numbers of vocabulary terms.
http://www.bubbabrain.com Play the demo game on the homepage to better understand the concept. The top left card will say "find this" - click on the match and clear the board. My students love using it to review vocabulary. You can create your own games for free.
