My name is Janine Tuccinardi and I am a third grade teacher in Fallbrook, CA. I am also a Master's student at Cal State San Marcos and currently taking a course on current issues and research in educational technology. As a part of a classroom assignment, I am to interview a member or founder of an online educational community and try to understand technology use in educational settings. After exploring this site the past couple months, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of activity and I am not sure which members are still active members.

If you are currently an elementary teacher using technology in your classroom daily and creatively, I want to know about it!  I would only need about 30 minutes of your time and we could do it through Skype or a Google Hangout. Anything that works best for you.

If this is something you are interested in doing please let me know as soon as possible.
I'd appreciate any help I can get!

Thank you!

At one time, Classroom 2.0 was a vibrant online community. Things have changed, as you have noted. The founder of this community is Steve Hargadon, and he still actively blogs. You should try contacting him directly.

I consider the physical presence essential to starting any project. The information technologies are to track contact started.

Janine,

I am teaching in primary computer (K-2) at a school in Missouri. I'm interested in doing a Skype-based communication, possibly an interview discussing how we both might grow professionally as educators using technology. Currently I'm finishing my Master's in Educational Technology and need to conduct a Skype videoconference. If you're interested, please let me know.
