About Me
I am planning a series of webinars designed to help parents and educators use video modeling technology with autism. I have been a Special Educator for 26 years, 24 at the Robin Ward School For Exceptional Children (PS177Q,NY). Developed DOE Beta site for parents of NYC students on the Spectrum. For the past 2 years, I have used the computer to successfully engage nearly 200 language-impaired students on the Spectrum in activities that promote metacognition, language and communication.

What do you think about pre-bundling video clips for lesson plans?

I grab YouTube clips that effectively communicate multi-step tasks to moderate to severely involved students on the Spectrum. I find that using sequential clips engages students quickly, more effectively and for longer periods of time.

I would like to collaborate with people who think this could prove valuable and would like to explore the potential.

For the past 2 years, I have used the computer to successfully engage nearly 200 language-impaired students on the Spectrum in activities that promote metacognition, language and communication. I believe the computer is an under-utilized tool that can be of immediate benefit to any classroom without regard to academic, social, intellectual or communication skills.
