What do you think about pre-bundling video clips for lesson plans?

I grab YouTube clips that effectively communicate multi-step tasks to moderate to severely involved students on the Spectrum. I find that using sequential clips engages students quickly, more effectively and for longer periods of time.

I would like to collaborate with people who think this could prove valuable and would like to explore the potential.

Video modeling clips

For the past 2 years, I have used the computer to successfully engage nearly 200 language-impaired students on the Spectrum in activities that promote metacognition, language and communication. I believe the computer is an under-utilized tool that can be of immediate benefit to any classroom without regard to academic, social, intellectual or communication skills.

I participate in Innovative Technology For Autism, started by Katherina Boser Chair of Innovative Technology for Autism Committee at Autism Speaks. This group works to connect researchers with the autism community.



The Sixth Sense is one of many practical,cutting-edge tools that will be adapted to serve Special Needs children.
