Hello Achimugu Yes, work here in Australia is good. I have a very supportive leadership at school who are happy to have me experiment with web2.0 learning. Australia is divided into 8 states and I live in Victoria and our education department is also supportive, plus we have just got a pay rise!!! Which is really good. What is it like teaching where you are? Also I teach in a smaller rural school with 260 students, so they are basically well behaved farm kids.

I am from Ghana and I'm just here to learn, contribute as well as link up with like-minded people who will be willing to share their experiences as well as help in spreading the concept of distance learning and adult education to Africa, which lags behind as far as education is concerned. hope to find a friend in you. my im is vinkosh@yahoo.com

Sounds like you're making great progress with your tech projects.
Do you have a digital camera? Cell phone? I think these will both prove to be very useful in the classroom but now and even moreso in the future. Do you know where you will be teaching yet? When you start? What age students you will have?
Jim

How are you preparing for your new job, Gavin?, well i dont really know anything about Anu dhabi, i mean am seeing this for the first time, its nice to know that i will learn about Anu dhabi from you.
Am presently a human resource officer in a private company here in Nigeria, and will be switching to teaching soon, hopefully before the year runs out because it is an exciting career, for me its like so much depends on you particularly when people look up to you to become who they really want to be.
i know i have so much to offer the next generation as a teacher, and i cant wait to start, i hope you wont mind sharing with me how your experiences has been, i mean as a music teacher.
Thanks Gavin
