Hi Ramona
Sorry for the delay in answering your question. I think the Web 2.0 environment in general is less rule driven than many of us are traditionally used to. There are rules concerning commercial solicitation on the front page. As for everyone else, if you aren't playing nice, people won't want to talk to you. Good "digital citizenship" is expected. It is an area we are all still learning about. Spammers, improper solicitations, and "adult" photos and posts are removed. Steve Hargadon, the "owner" and facilitator of this Ning has the final say and action.

There is an opportunity for any member to become part of the decision making process and to help guide the direction of the group. Any member can join into the "live" conversations each month. All voices who want to be heard are heard. If you can't join in the "live" conversation, you can listen to the recording from the session and post any ideas, or send them to Steve.

I hope this helps.

Yes, Brazilian Portuguese is quite a bit different from that spoken in Portugal, as others countries speak Portuguese language. I will search more english information about it.

Spanish is similar Portuguese because both is from latin language.

All the best,

:)

Cool question and study for the 'rules/mores' post. I don't have time to answer now, but will come back to it.

Yes, Remona this site is entirely supported by educators. Steve Hargadon is the creator and does a sterling job of keeping it going and maintaining it. Other educators secure membership and it is primarily up to them to get discussions and forum groups going. It is a voluntary site in entirety.

Hello Rmona, re you able to explain a little more about what details you require. I am not certain what some of the topics are and if I can, I will be glad to be of assistance. Please let me know. Otherwise I will have a go at looking up the terminology and getting the meaning.
