I just spent two days with Pamela DePinto learning the latest information on brain development. It certainly makes me wonder how I ever survived the "old-fashioned" education of lectures from the teacher, memorization and testing. How much has the school system changed now that we know more about how learning occurs?

Over in teh UK the latest is a bit of a move away from just V.A.K. and towards multi-modal methods of learning including see, hear , touch and feel.
How does recent brain research affect this change in viewpoint, I wonder.... -

Pamela DePinto is an adjunct faculty with Aurora University and has been an administrator with Lake Forest School District. You may know Lake Forest, Illinois as the home of the Chicago Bears.
