I just signed up. What a cool sounding project.

Thanks! Great to have you on board!

Great idea and soooooo simple to do.  Our school year here in Peru just ended but I sent the link to the first grade teachers.  Is March or April too late to join?

I'm hoping that the project will be running in March and maybe even end in April, but we'll just see who we end up having on board. If anyone from your school is interested it would be great if they could sign up in the next few weeks so at least they are part of the planning etc. Great to hear from you!

HI  Jess, I think this project would make a great  MEET ME AT THE CORNER episode.  I work with a local grade school teacher who may be interested and we can do an interview with the teacher and introduce the project.  Check out MEET ME AT THE CORNER, VIrtual Field TRips for Kids (www.meetmeatthecorner.org) to see some of our free educational videos for kids ages 5-13 to see if it would be a nice fit.

Hey Donna,

Sure! Sounds like it would be a great fit. Maybe we could get a couple of other teachers involved too when the project gets started to show the international reach of it all. Awesome!

Yes, let's talk about it. The film crew is here in my town so filming a show here would be the easiest for me. Is there a write up about this project or is this your idea and in the process of being created?

Hi again,

The project wiki is where you will find a description etc : http://lunchboxproject.wikispaces.com and it is in the process of being planned and created. I'm hoping it will run Feb-Apr next year or thereabouts - just depends on how many schools want to be involved and where they are from. At the moment there are a few from the US and here in Australia so I'm hoping to reach a bit wider than that before it all takes off.

Hi Jess,

This sounds like a fun project.  Are you doing this project for the upcoming school year (2011/12)?  Or is it just through December 2011?

Thanks!

Hey Miranda,

That project ran at the beginning of this year - Feb-April and isn't running at the moment. thanks for your interest tho!

Jess
