About Me
I am a consultant and educator by education and trade. After spending 11 years in the technology/management consulting field, I underwent a major job and educational change and moved into the teaching realm. Overall, it was doing the same thing … taking someone fom one place to where they wanted and needed to go … After teaching for a number of years, I have experienced total convergence of all of my educational ad business and personal backgrounds, and I am curently a technology coordinator (tech director) for a high school in a large Illinois high school district. Yup, I am being intentionally vague… I have another blog that is more linked to my school and district, however, I really want to keep Vanishing Point separate from them as what is represented here are my own thought, concerns, challeges, fear, hopes and ponderences. Please feel free to comment here or contact me at any time at vpointconvergence @ gmail . com (yup, take the spaces out.)

Hi Scott. I was wondering if your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. If not, perhaps you have some educator contacts you could direct me to. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

Thanks again Scott for introducing us all to these amazing sites. I know you warned against jumping into too many, but I'd search and find things I liked, and join. Then I'd find things I liked on another one too. We'll see what this leads to. I can't tell you how happy I am to have a techy in class with me. It's just what I needed to push me into more tech. integration in my classroom!

I was finally able to join Classroom 2.0! Had to do it from home, though. Thanks for letting me know about this site, Scott! Now, let's see what I can do with it!

Hey there from Melbourne, where it is starting to rain harder than it has for a long time. Thank you for accepting my invitation and saying hi.
I am looking forward to learning alongside you and the others in the network.

Kind Regards

Jacinta
