Would like to hear from others who are using (or know about others) a microblogging platform such as Yammer / Chatter for internal staff communication. What are teachers / leaders in school using for internal staff communication / calendaring? Thanks :)

I am developing a program to train teachings in being ICT coaches / leaders / mentors to other teachers in their respective teaching teams as a way of enacting effective peer support in using technology in the classroom. I would greatly appreciate and resources / links / comments etc as to how this can be effectively achieved.

Looking to purchase a powered cart / trolley for 10 laptops (Macbooks) - to travel from classroom to classroom. Criteria I am looking at include: durability and construction, ease of use, transportability, security features and of course cost.
