I must be a thermostat for my students. This is a challenge. Time is a big factor. I do try to bring in the outside world to the class

About Me
7th grade ILA. After teaching 10 years at Anderson High School, Nagel Middle opened -- thank goodness! Not that I did not enjoy my years at Anderson...the 7 - 12 configuration was not conducive to the middle level learner! At Nagel - it makes sense!
I love to write, read new writers, play with my children and find ways to push students to new heights!

Hi Mary!

Hope you had a nice winter break. I was wondering if you or your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. If not, perhaps you have some educator contacts you could direct me to. We'd really like to get students involved from Ohio!

You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

My district recently had Will Richardson speak to us about technology...nings, skykes, blogs, jinga...and so much more...my head is still spinning! It thoroughly excites me (not in that way) thinking about the wealth of information that is available to our students!
