Looking for Killer English projects

I am looking for some killer projects using technology that will allow students to go deep into one subject and kill several state standards with one stone, so to speak. I had lots of luck with a dual credit English composition course through the University of Missouri /Kansas City the last couple of years, but I wish I had given them more to work with.
