I've used Engrade and Edu 2.0 both are easy to use and student/parent friendly! They also have online gradebooks!

Have you looked at BetterLesson? I tried the beta last spring, and they have some nice tools for lesson planning. http://www.betterlesson.org/

I am the founder of sharedschool.com, an online lesson plan management tool that uses a correlation engine to enable teachers to discover others' content simply by searching their local standards. We are still in our alpha release and the site…

Hi I realize I gave you the incorrect name of the site. It should be StandardsToolbox.com

I don't know if you would be interested in this at all, but I use Planbook. It's not a web-based application, but you can publish your lesson plans to any server. I think it's one of the best software programs I have found.

Online lesson plan storage

I'm looking for ideas for an online lesson plan storage site. I have used schoolnotes for a number of years but they are changing formats. I am looking for a place with a template in place.

What all are you wanting when you say "Ning like"? You might want to check out edmodo. I'm using it with 6th and 7th graders, no email is required, and support is unbelievable! They just rolled out edmodo 2.0 and it has a lot of…

Online math curriculum

In my school we teach math in grades 5-8 as a multigraded, performance based class. We pretest each topic we want to teach and then divide the students into groups based on their performance on the pretest. As we continue to with the program (we are in our 3rd year) we are having difficulty finding materials. Has anyone found and used online math curriculum? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

so far i have just set up a ning account for myself and have played around with it. I think it is similar to what this classroom.2.0 thing is, except geared towards students. I haven't decided how to use it quite yet.

also, are you using the westfall wiki for your classes or for other teachers or for both? a school wiki similar to what we are doing for TIG might be good way to share resources with other teachers...
